With traded pokemon, it makes sense to a degree, so you can easily identify which pokemon was yours if you're letting someone borrow a mon, but it would be nice to re nickname. I'm not entirely sure on GF's reasoning for that.

It is because of the TCG, there's a new set of premade decks. One features Shiny Xerneas, one Shiny Yveltal and the last is plain Zygarde. This is the first time Zygarde has been put onto a card so i'd imagine that is why it isn't shiny.

Do note that Yveltal works well with many natures, Modest, Timid, Rash, Mild, Naughty, Lonely, Bold, Calm, Naive, Hasty, Impish and Careful.
Modest, Bold, Impish and Rash are most favored by Smogon, but other natures can work with slightly modified stats and moves.

+ATK natures uses Sucker Punch

Yveltal appreciates having a Dark Arua boosted priority Sucker Punch so you don't want to lower Attack. Dark Aura boosted Dark Pulse hits like a motherfucker and Oblivion Wing gets recovery so you don't want to lower its SpAtk. Lowering its speed would just be stupid, so you're left with having to lower one of the defenses. Because P.Don is a much bigger threat in Ubers, you don't normally want to lower Defense so SpDef is singled out as the stat you to lower
