Seriously why does she have a camel toe? Its a kids show! What were they thinking?

So why was Bergmite's debut just a background shot in Wulfric's Gym? Why do the writers give some pokemon entire fillers, like that Phantump episode from 2 weeks ago, yet other pokemon just debut in the background for the first time an don't do much?

If anything it proves the writers don't have to waste entire episodes just to showcase a new pokemon in a filler. It would probably improve the anime tremendously too.

I wonder if they've ever actually had Ash use an expression similar to this before.

I'm sure there must have been a couple times in the many seasons beforehand. But he's generally pretty upbeat or aggressive if the situation calls for it. I don't think I've ever seen him really look embarrassed over how he acted (I'm assuming that this scene is Ash feeling ashamed for making them all worry). Maybe in one of the episodes where a Pokemon leaves back in OS?
