I completed my Gen 6 (besides the unreleased legendary pokemon) back in '13 before the west even got bank. You don't know the pain and suffering of using the GTS to get all these shitty pokemon when only a few Japanese had bank before it was pulled.

It wasn't that painful. Well, ignoring mythicals for obvious reasons. As long as you could snipe one bank exclusive, you could breed it and trade for the rest. For legendaries, all you needed was a shit-tier shiny (fishing, etc.) or a good Vivillon and you could gradually dex them all by repeatedly trading them.

If anything it was kinda fun, except for Unown.
