This, Blastoise was in the concept art and Machoke's name only appeared in a trailer. As much as I'd like to believe Doduo is in the early route, I watched the entire 'source' and didn't see anything about it. Looks like a shoddy photoshop attempt.

The only Pokémon that's so far been confirmed to be in the game is Meowth.

I don't doubt we'll be seeing many of these Pokémon in Sun and Moon, including Staryu, Horsea and Magikarp - but they haven't been confirmed. There are other cases of statues and places throughout the games with names of Pokémon in them or designed after Pokémon that don't appear in the game.

Yes, but it was literally the only oldgen Pokemon present in the vanilla BW, when you have over 30 of those fuckers with some already confirmed through the in-game footage (Meowth, Doduo) it stops being a coincidence

All from official sources like concept arts and trailers, except for Charmander and Bulbasaur lines but these are already heavily implied by the inclusion of Blastoise himself.

Well that doesn't mean we won't get a lot of new pokes. Look at hoenn for instance. We got 130 new mons and the game still had tons of kanto and Johto Pokemon.
