I use the Pokemon I like the most during regular gameplay. Smogon teams would probably actually be worse/more time consuming during real gameplay anyway than using my favorites. However I use smogon stuff when I play competitively, which I only do on showdown.

I'm a fucking karenfag dude, i play anything goes on showdown and wreck shop against legendaries. and that's people who, for the most part, know how to play competitive, don't even get me started on battle spot, I wreck people on XY and ORAS with literally my in-game teams with minimal super training for EVs and decent or neutral natures

I like you. My friend uses a Glaceon on her team and the thing is adorable.

I start each game playing with favorites, but each game quickly becomes tedious and annoying... so I end up just wanting the best/toughest guys to make the best team and Smogon their moves and stats to make getting through the game as easy as possible.
I dislike using legendaries, though so I usually do not catch them.
