Delphox was supposed to look like it had a robe/dress. If you have ever been in a loose robe before, you can tell it would be a little difficult for others to see your elbows.

The only thing that got me with the design was the ears. That fluff just screws up my mind a little too much. It also doesn't have a large variety of colors, which can screw up a design.

As much as pokemon is ever hard. Charizard is objectively the weakest gen 1 starter with the most weaknesses and fewest strengths. This doesn't actually mean anything though, as long as you're willing to grind a bit he can still solo the whole fucking game.

That said, as poorly matched as Charizard was Meganium is a whole other level of shit, at least Charizard learned some good moves.

I think Delphox is an example of Pokémon that just have really terrible models. If you look at artwork, Delphox looks okay cool. It's not a 10/10, but it's easier to see why it got a pass. but the funny thing is Meganium has virtually the exact same stats as Venasaur who has been one of the most solid and consistently OU tier pokemon almost every single gen since the very first
the only actual difference is its sp atk and defense stats are swapped
if GF just gave Meganium some half decent support it could actually be a good pokemon in terms of battling
but of course this is GF we're talking about every gen theres a mere handful of previous gen pokemon they decide to actually put any effort into balancing better so maybe in another 10 gens they will get around to Meganium
