yes, which is why it is BRILLIANT! none of the pokemon have the fairy type, so the usuall counters don't work. Not to mention you have a diverse set of mons of different typings, giving you good coverage..

I originally applied for Normal, then realized that potentially forcing someone out of a position that I didn't really want was kinda a dick move, so I then said that I would rather go for psychic (since it was empty at the time) and not to worry about normal. Day 5 of hatching Eevees over. Managed to get a Female with Wish. Also have a Male with Calm nature, so will be breeding those together. In the process, have picked up a number of Eevees with assorted IVs @ 31, so those will be going in to the mix at a later stage.

I'm going with a full blown Herpetology team, which means I'm restricting myself to reptiles and amphibians. Going with an Arbok, Feraligatr, Charizard, Krookodile, Salamence, and the last choice is pure fodder. If anyone has a spare totodile lying around, I'll see what I can do for it.

Ok then. So since the idea of levels set by gym leaders has come up too, here's the current idea:

Every Gym Leader can choose what level cap they want to use for their team and challengers can use any team level they want.

Only problem is that if a Gym gets challenged by a Dojo, the higher leveled team wins which means that sooner or later all Gyms are gonna be max leveled.
That problem would be solved if fights were settled by using an independent instead of the gym team (maybe still using the gym type?) to keep the level variety of different gyms.

alternatively, any challenge for the gym itself is done at the level set by the leader. Afterall, the point is not to prove that the challenger is a better trainer, but that he would be better at leading that gym.

Of course, if they want to change their team or their level after they take over, no problem.

Gym leaders can collect their badges in spawn. Please put them in a chest that's in your gym (easily findable for admins).
Gym types that are wanted by two leaders have to be decided by battle.

Question about Badges and Gyms.
Let's say we have two trainers named Bob and Joe. Bob runs an Electric Gym, and Joe runs an Electric Dojo.
I fight Bob in his Gym and win. I earn the Electric Badge related to his Gym.
A few days later, Joe challenges Bob for the title of Gym Leader and wins. Joe now runs an Electric Gym, and Bob has a Dojo.
Is the Badge I won from Bob null and void? Do I have to challenge Joe now and defeat his Pokemon to earn the Badge?
