It worked out when Japan got a spring release and they had all summer to promote it in the US. The last one I remember was they had a Simon mall tour with X&Y listed as a game available and people went thinking they had a demo(that was showcased in Japan and E3.) They modified the website later in the day to say they would be featured after the game's release.

There is no age limit on this shit, I took my 4 year old and my 75 year old grandmother loved it. Great family affair, 10/10.

Everyone won a prize who participated, you spun a wheel to see what level. There were pins, posters, shirts, styluses, patches, and pokedolls.

Also had lots of fans collecting, trading cards at my local. It was nice. You seem real mad, man.

but they sell the same merch anywhere now. Before Tomy started shipping to US retailers, that event was the only place to get tomy figures and plush.
