Legends actually worked out fine, it just makes more sense this way to ban them cause you can make a team with basically anything you want. Some monotypes need legends to fill in power gaps that don't exist in a regular team.

Gym leaders don't have set teams, they can change it up whenever they want as long as it isn't mid match. Usually they will be taking advantage of that so they don't have glaring flaws that can be easily exploited.

Yeah, the only way I eventually beat that in game 3 was to stall out the turns until it switched back and hit as fast and as hard as I could. Wasn't easy to simply stay alive long enough.

i forgot to mention about myself

so for half of 2014 i was a pizza delivery guy. got fired before i could quit despite being employee of the month...

then for most of 2015 i was homeless and lived out of my car. winter was rough. then the car broke down. wasn't getting along with father.

Thank you, guys. I didn't make it out of unemployed homelessness by myself, though. If it weren't for the generosity of a half dozen family members, I'd be in a much worse place today.

Living off food stamps, I had about $6.50 a day to buy food, and no money for anything else unless I sold belongings. And I did sell a few things.

When I came to Ohio I was as dependent as a child. Now I'm able to buy my own food and soap again, etc.

Please understand, I really only chose to use Pidfeog in my gym challenge because I didn't see any other way of beating a Fighting gym. Normally I'm a one-birb man.

I remember when I was a gym leader, people seemingly all started packing Gastrodons for some reason, and they were really frustrating to defeat. Same for Porygon2 (even though I used one as well). That's why we crafted the rule that gym leaders could change their teams at will — sometimes challengers abuse loopholes or you get bored. Personally, I changed my team up often and I had a lot of fun as a result.

As a gym leader, I saw my job as "losing gracefully." I know not everyone saw it like I did. Some got really depressed when they lost. I tried to win, absolutely, but when I did lose? It was usually a happy feeling, for me; especially when I lost during a rematch.

Misses, Crits, Predonks, Surprises! Those were some great matches! I kind of got the hang of your style after round 1, but it still was a close game every round!

With 4 badges in my posession, 2 more chances at Fire and Flying, 1 more chance at Fairy because Daniel is a fucking wizard or something and a Dragon Gym I've yet to face, there's still plenty of action coming up before I get a shot at the champion's throne!
