I picked based on the Legendary, but I might change my mind if Moon has something better to offer

Yeah, originally I was gonna go Moon, but the legendary looks awful, so i'm leaning closer to Sun. But it'll depend on what the differences are. Exclusives and what not. Maybe I'll buy both? I doubt it, but maybe. Wife'll get the other one atleast, though she'll never play it.
Starter, I'm between Litten and Rowlet, will depend on final form/typing. They're both ok. Popplio is awful looking

My God, look at the replies, only one person is choosing Popplio and only because he always picks the Water starter. The owl is clearly the worst of the three.

True, but I'm actually talking about the base forms. In terms of creativity and appeal the owl is the worst. It's just an owl with a bowtie-shaped leaf on its neck. It's so spherical as to be almost nondescript in shape and there's really no personality in its design at all. The cat looks edgy and the seal looks playful and a little smug, what does the owl look like? Nothing. It's a soulless, shapeless owl.

I'm saving my opinions until i know what these little things evolve into but if i have to pick just based on the first form id go with litten. it's cool and adorable and while i have high hopes for rowlet's evolved forms for now he doesn't do it for me.
