Customization is already back, Amie likely will be back since half of XY's devtime was that and if it is I hope they improve it, and good fucking riddance to the roller skates. If they were a key item like the bike they'd be fine, but I much preferred ORAS's run.

I really want DexNav and Soaring to return, but it's not likely.

Rollerblades were great because they allowed you to move off grid, but now there is no grid so it doesn't matter.

Rollers were awful, they werent optional enough, you couldn't do 360 degree movement with the circle pad (which is also the most comfortable directional input on the 3DS to press) without those slippery ass controls.

ORAS did good in this regard. Though if I had a choice D-pad would be dropped completely for movement and would instead be used for something else.

Rollerskates will probably return because Hawaii, where Alola is based on is part of America and most Americans in films and stuff seem to only ever wear roller blades.

Pedal bikes might not return becuse it is America though and the new cars and the use of motorised transport could see them replaced by Hummers and Harleys.

Running shoes will definately return and there will probably be a vast selection you can choose from but be very expensive.
