Safe bet he's not getting a Litten, it doesn't really fit his character and I'm almost sure it's reserved as the token feminine starter for a new companion.

Popplio or Rowlet is likely, but i'm leaning towards Popplio due to how expressive it can be, and Rowlet would interfere with obligatory route 1 bird. (Though that doesn't stop him from having three flyers in his Kalos team)

Writing Popplio on land sounds tricky though, and I'm pretty sure Rowlet IS the most popular.

I'm usually a sucker for the water starters, Popplio looks cute but Rowlet was the first to get my attention so i'm leaning towards it a bit more, little guy reminds me of Piplup.

I'm thinking on doing the same I did on Gen 6 and pick the starter my two best friends don't choose, because I tought the three of them were equally "meh".

This is the first time since Gen 4 that the starters are actually all great and appealing. For once I'm actually looking forward to picking one instead of "this one is the least bad, I guess".

Popplio is adorable as shit, Litten has a really nice design and Rowlet has big potential for later stages.

In the version with a "fire" box legend you choose a fire type and a flying on the "flying" box legend.
Please tell you don't plan on using the legend plus starters, my autism can't take it

I prefer the fire starter at the moment, although it will probably turn into furbait again.

Water starter looks a bit weird but if the last three water starters are anything to go by, the final evolution will probably be the best looking one.

Grass starters are always consistently okay-looking. I'll choose it if the other two go to shit.

I really don't know, it's hard to pick between litten and rowlet. I'll use the seal later because I always use all three eventually. I'll probably end up going litten first run but rowlet is a really close second.
