I'm having a hard time liking this design. The nose and the ears really put me off. Hopefully the evolutions are better.

It's strange, when the first games came out they didn't have nearly the capacity for sprite detail that they have now, yet the official designs were still very detailed.
Now that they have the ability to do complex spritework and even full 3D models, all the official designs are incredibly simple.

Also I hate the fact that they moved to more "human" looking eyes in nearly all of the new pokemon they make.
I wish they'd start making pokemon with eyes that made them actually look like animals again, like rapidash and vulpix have.
