I'm betting on this one too. GEN VI trio was way more thought to be a tighter trio than the ones before so I'll reckon it would be stupid to just go back. GEN VI starters (thanks to Greninja also) are the most loved starters since the first trio, so It's obvious the ones are going to be cute, have a theme and a double type in another trio.
