i desperately want a water platypus. but the unlikable part of it is that i want it to be a repeat of piplup; cute with a big head. but i want it to be really cool, with big hands or something to make it stand out and be interesting (piplup is my favorite starter). i think it would be really cool to evolve it into a hadrosaur type thing, either pure water. water/fighting, or water/rock. NOT poison though, i think its so overdone and boring in fakemon.
a marine iguana would be ok too.

for fire, im on the wrong website to be saying so, but i would like to remain realistic and go with a zodiac type. ox would be boring as fuck, snake too much like snivy, and i feel like a cat would be so boring. so i would go with a rabbit, but i'd want it to be the coolest possible, of course. a jackalope/wolpertinger/whatever you want to call it, with point horns that can ignite for a new body-flame-area. id hate fighting so i would go for dark, flying(it could be interesting i guess) or ground. some might say fairy, and im open to it, but very against another feminine fire type, so it would have to be more of a xerneas/mawile type of fairy.

for grass im open to all types of things, i love the idea of a kiwi or an owl, but ive seen so many fakemon based on them that theyve become stale (roothoot/cactowl reboot). for reasons like these, i am inclined to pick something different. one that ive always gone back to is a raptor, birdlike but still noticeably reptilian, because i think it would be sick to have two semi-bird starters(paired with platypus) for some reason. i dont believe in the theory that the grass starters follow a time-period sequence or whatever that is. i just think they're supposed to be related to some sort of dinosaur/prehistoric animal. thats why i pick raptors, but i would also be down for a triceratops or something bulky like that.


a side note: starters need to be balanced. at least one quadruped, at least one reptile, and color schemes are very important.
