trying to follow this guide
http://www.smogon.com/ingame/rng/pprng_gen5_02_basics
to rng manipulate b2 from the start of the game, letting me get a perfect IV shiny starter.
what's confusing me is the timing with the key system step. do I need to be setting the time of the DS within PPRNG each time I hit yes to send/receive keys? or should it just be left on the time the game booted up (ie, the white loading screen just before the pokemon company, gamefreak etc © info shows up)?
Not sure if I'm barking up the wrong tree trying this method of RNG manipulation out, since wifi support has been dropped, not sure what else to do.
Any pointers from anons with experience and knowledge would be vastly appreciated

do you know if it's based on time set from game booting up, or time set from when you key search?
