I honestly think the current issue with people crashing using F is because external moves has been disabled. I tried it on singleplayer and another server and they don't seem to have the same problem.
Also i think one of the reason external moves cause crash is when people spam it or use it for big task. I crashed the server on gen4 by linking 10 trees with logs and using cut to cut all trees at once. found out that server cant handle that

Alrighty, first of all sorry for my absence and lack of thread making.
I've been fairly busy as of late (mainly Uni) and was only able to keep an eye on the server but not actually join in person.
Same with threads. Since they usually reach the bump limit fairly late my time or early in the morning, I'm not able to make new ones.
About new mods:
Obviously some people are eager to help but since I can never be sure if someone will abuse his power I'm not too comfortable with the idea, especially since things seem to be fairly civil on the Server right now.
Anyway, I'll be online a bit more in the evenings again just to check in and make sure everything is running well and make sure griefing and dickishness isn't getting out of hand.
Also the user VPixelmon is not an admin or mod, just to clear up any confusion.

And people are dying to be issued badges so that they can have people come to their towns to challenge them. If spawners are wanted for EV training, I believe they should be limited so that EV training doesnt become a given, you still have to work for it. Vendors for automatic trading would be amazing, as the NPC shops can be very limited in quantity and item variety. I want to look into how that works, with any current mods that may be out right now.

As for losing items to server, it would be very easy for someone to lie about that in order to get free items. People need to log off/stop what theyre doing before the restart and I hope that would limit that issue. When Sandile Park got its spawner, a few other people who already had builds in place requested some as well. Klinks for a factory, Slugma for a hotspring, Natu for a jungle temple, etc. These were things that were already built before Sandile Park got a spawner. Yes it's true that they are a good way to farm EVs, but that's not their main purpose. Also even if it was, EVs aren't work right now anyways. Using a power item in the magikarp pool gets you everything you need, with just like 2 gold worth of EV reducing berries at the end of you didn't want the speed EVs. Also, even if hypothetically getting EVs was hard, there's no reason for it to be.

I was thinking one logical use for spawners would be to EV train off them instead of hunting. I just dont want hunting for EVs to become a thing of the past, because hunting mons for whatever purpose is part of the game.

The ones being reffered to were the external moves, the crash logs are too old for me to dig up.
Those crashes were related to Rock Smash. Pokemon are supposed to sometimes spawn when you use it externally, and apparently attempting to spawn that mon was crashing the server. There was not a way to disable just Rock Smash, so all external moves were disabled and for whatever reason Forage was tied to that and was disabled as well.

Okay, so, all we know is that Rock Smash and how it functions currently crashed the server.

So you still haven't (and I know you've listed your limitations of age on the logs, so this isn't referring to that) said what the actual thing that caused the crash was, which you would have needed to dig into the crash logs more than just cursory research. Which is fine in and of itself.

GYM STUFF:
Everyone who wants to be a Gym leader will have to apply again in spawn. The station is right in spawn so you shouldn't be able to miss it.
Applications will NOT be based on a First-Come First-Serve basis but instead if there are conflicting Gym types, the two leaders will have to battle it out.
When we have enough applications I'll open up a Gym Register where people can find current Gym leaders.
I'll be online as much as possible today to answer questions about all this.

I've been thinking of some alternative tournaments with additional rules that I could try to organize in the future, and wanted to run a few by you guys to see if there's any interest.

The second question, yes. How that will work exactly is still undecided, but it has been decided that a gym must be active to stay a gym.
The third question, someone can contest a gym for their badge whether they're less active or not. There's a bit of healthy competition between Dojos and Gyms that should be fun to play out. So basically, yes.

Gary and I aren't neets, we've been busy.

I've been juggling the last of my finals with having a job and trying to recover from what I assume is pneumonia, I'm too cheap to go to a doctor to fins out; as such, I haven't been on as much because of that. Come the weekend I'll be able to play with y'all more often.

Then in a week I go on a week long road trip, thank god for mobile hotspot, so I'll still be available.

Also, VPixelmon isn't me, I'm ProfRowan, H1 cucked me out of that username.

There should be a launcher for pixelmon that will get the mod for you, all you have to do is edit the profile in it and drag/drop the files like crayfish mod and whatever else client side mods you want that can work and save that shit.
