And why are there two Mewtwo Mega Stones if only one of them can be used at a time?

My personal belief is the one you find in Kalos was the one in the Genesect movie and the one in Kanto was the male-sounding one in the first movie. Take it with a grain of salt since it's a headcanon, but it helps me sleep at night.
