It touches on getting the base set up in MultiMC, and once you figure out MultiMC, you'll have much fewer headaches with Minecraft in general.

Working right now on the battle frontier since I joined too late to get in on the gym leader/league train, essentially creating a large artificial island using several hex shapes based on the hex shaped battle frontier from gen 4.

The center hex will have a tiny town, with a mart, pokecenter, and not sure what else.
Every other hex with have trees and greenery, and in the center a custom battle facility.

One of them however, is going to have a water tunnel entrance, because right nearby we found a water monument we cleared out of all the water, so we're going to try and make convert it into an underwater version of the battle pyramid.

Anyway right now we're mainly planning the battle tower first, and long term 5-7 facilities depending on the interest.

The battle tower will have a strong trainer chosen for the top, and then a four floor knockout challenge.
(fight four trainers, then fight the final one and get a prize with no rest or heals)

Since this isn't the league, we'll have a base level requirement of 50 to participate, and anyone can become a trainer in a facility if they like.

We wont be choosing any frontier brains for a while, not until gym leaders and the league system is finished

I've been breeding two 4ivs together for I don't even fucking know how long. I've filled an entire box with eggs from these two Shroomish alone. One's holding a Destiny Knot, the other's holding an Everstone to pass on the nature I need. The Destiny Knot one is missing HP and Atk, the other's missing SpA and Spe. It's the best breeding setup I can come up with, and if anyone can tell me how to make it better, I'd fucking love to hear it. Yet despite this, in an entire fucking box's worth of eggs, I have not gotten a single pentaperfect. In fact, most of what I've bred has FEWER than four IVs. How does that translate to "not having to try?"

Why yes, I'm a little salty about this. In fact, that's why I logged off, so I wouldn't subject anyone in the game to all this salt. But to walk in here and mock me for it just set me right the fuck off. Apologies, but I don't really know what you expected.

So this is what we got done today, it took a while because it has a lower level we're going to have made into a market, the other hexes we add are going to be flat and bowl like with no interior.

Right now it more or less mass spawns slowbro's and slowpoke's

Six more hexes of the same size will be added soon but we first plan to make a tiny town in the center, a pokemon center, some houses, and I'm really not sure what else.

yeah, the mod detection is finicky at best

you'll get there, many of the problems is that the installer is simply just using the wrong version of the mod

if the mods still don't work, you may have to look up the correct versions manually as the ones in the pastebin may be out of date.

I just moved in yesterday, even though it's just one perspective.
Everything I've been working on in the server have been sort of public builds. Healing centers, gyms, stores, etc. All my stuff is in chests in caves under the builds, scattered around everywhere. Overlook may not be great but it seems like a good place to build a personal house, and collect all of my stuff in it.
The gym is small, the residents have plain houses, but it's kind of quaint in a certain way and I appreciate having a Mart, Center, and fossil area all in one place, and I don't mind putting a house there.

Im planning on making stores and public stuff as well. i try to outfit all my builds with a pc and healer, even my homes. that way its easy for anyone on the server at any location to get quick heals. i still keep one central loot location that way its easier for me to take inventory.

Jambone here, Overlook's founder. I'm the only one who posts pictures of it, because I like the way it looks and I've built it almost entirely myself, so I'm very proud of it. I'm sorry that it's come off as shilling, which I don't think makes much sense considering the appeal of the pictures is 100% the shaders and not the actual builds themselves.

Also pretty disappointed in you dumb fags that you can't take a sign placed as a joke from an obviously much smaller town with far fewer residents in a server full of literal racists and grown adults (not judging anyone here, of course, I like the vast majority of you).

I'm not shilling, I'm not shitting on other towns, I'm simply having a sense of humor and trying to get some friendly rivalries going with other towns. Excuse my wanting to have fun in a video game. You can come put signs in Overlook all you want -- in fact, Silk did not long ago AND put a lot more effort into it than I did, and I actually wanted to keep it. Like it was a whole monument for Meatkraut, and I loved it, probably going to incorporate it and other town-based monuments into the town.

Alright so here's an update, we're going to be calling this battle facility the Battlehex.

We've finished the buildings for the small town on top of the center hex, all that's left is to plant plants/trees.

Below the pokemon center we made a nice trade room, which we've named the Cable Club, for anyone that's a fan of the gen 1 name.

Anyway, once the top is finished, we're going to put the market in below, (as well as a fossil room probably) and see if we can ask Gary to spawn us a nurse and merchants.

We also have a pokemart in the blue stand outside, figured that would be nicer and more space efficient then a standard building.

Kaz_m has also taken up the job of name rater and said he plans to get prizes for good nicknames people show him, his house is the one on the right in the picture.

We'll probably have at least one functional battle facility around weekend if anyone was curious
