... And then there's this shit. Chesnaught has got to be one of the worst designs Gamefreak has shat out in ages. At least Greninja and Delphox look like they have the rogue and mage roles down. Chesnaught looks like a fucking child wrapped up in safety gear, arms hanging so far out because all of the layers preventing it from moving them to its sides.

Saying "X is my favorite" is a preference, stating however that your favorite is best or better is an actual statement, which is opinionated.

The only opinion in said OP is Chestnaught being a bad design, which can actually be debated. You can't debate or argue against a preference unless it's fueled by otherwise specific objective reasoning.

Gen 6 is one of my favorite Gens, but I also acknowledge it as being more flawed than your average generation. A preference is not inherently a statement, I don't understand why that's such a difficult concept for people to grasp, you can't just prove somebody's favorite is wrong as if they're lying, that doesn't make any sense.

Stating that something is your favorite is objective, unless said reason is factually wrong or flawed (i.e. I love Weavile because it's bulky and a great Special Attack sweeper) but even then only your reasoning (i.e. stated opinion) is wrong, not the actual preference itself, because people you still enjoy it for that reason.
