The problem with disabling breeding is that we'll be stuck playing an even worse, more autistic game - running around forever trying to persuade the RNG to give us what we want, with even less control over it.

The egg moves would be a far bigger loss than IVs. There are a load of Pokemon who get important moves from breeding. Quagsire, for example, is kind of fucked without Recover.
