Well, for one thing, it has real-time battles. The other big draw is that it might not crash every other second.

On the other hand, it also looks like ten pounds of shit in a one-pound sack (Gardevoir is autism to the extreme), and loses a lot of the things I actually like about Pixelmon (evolutionary stone shards, mining fossils on the seafloor, fancy armor, maybe even rideable Pokemon, fancy breeding, specific recipes, grottos...)

On the third hand, because evidently I'm a three-armed monstrosity now, it actually is made by competent people (or at least less autistic than the Pixelmon devs.) Really, what I'd like is to take the best parts of both and combine them. A real-time battle mode using Pixelmon's models (which, while not good, aren't actively terrible in most cases) would be downright orgasm-inducing, but I'm not quite ready to give up the evolutionary stone and Poke Ball crafting machine methods yet. It might be stockholm syndrome, but I'm gonna say it anyway.

Yes, it takes coordination between people, unless Gary/whoever's in charge installs something like Morpheus that allows for a half-or-more vote thing. It would be nice to have some sort of rain-off vote or some such though since night time's not dangerous, and is helpful for catching certain pokés. Not sure how that would be achieved though.
