Seamless multiplayer. People randomly join your game and you randomly join theirs seamlessly on maps that don't have story events (if the story events in the area are done, then seamless multiplayer will work in it). Amount of players are adjusted to how big the map is.

In RBY, the enemy will always use the "super effective" moves when facing your mons, even if they're status moves. Easily exploitable once it's found out.

I know it's absolutely useless. But customizable battles on PVP.
Like choosing the backdrop (for Nature/secret Power purposes), and special conditions, like in Gen 4 Battle Arcade, but without the roulette, such as perma-weather or start in Trick Room.
It could add a small gimmick to the free battles.
