You guys ready for this to happen again?
>>25939719
In like 2½ years or so from now? Sure
>>25939719
Can't wait for another huge city I can literally get lost in.
>>25939719
I hope they bring back the glitch
is that elite four
>octagonal city
>5 streets
This shit made me so angry.
>>25939719
>It was a one week thing
>People still talk shit about it
>>25940046
Honestly, if one could just control the camera the city would be easier to navigate
>>25939719
lumiose was a mistake
>>25939719
god this city was such a clusterfuck
>>25941195
>being this upset that people shittalk the only city to break games
>being a Reimu pleb when Marissa exists
>>25941272My favorite main character is Sanae to be quite honest familia
>>25939719
>>25941152
What was the glitch?
>>25943806
You couldn't save but it's fixed.
>>25943865
Wrong, you COULD save, but your file would be corrupted.
>>25941272
>he doesn't like RaymooI may prefer Armpit Shrine Maiden to Thieving Witch, but Love Colored Master Spark is so much better than Maiden's Capriccio, though.
>>25941272
>Marissa
>two s's
Educate yourself, shitlord.
>>25940046
>Can't wait for another huge city I can literally get lost in.
Hopefully Gen 6 is based on London and the whole region is just one massive city.
>>25943892
Correction, saving in specific areas of the city has a CHANCE of corrupting your ave.
>>25940046
Let's be honest here, if you got lost in Lumiose you probably aren't the smartest person.
>>25941187
That's clearly a decagon, not an octagon.
>>25939719
Yeah because I didn't mind it, all you had to do was go to the middle
why does no one talk about how there's some weird glitch where if you lose to Clemont he can disappear from the gym and leave you no choice but to restart? That is way worse
>>25945751
>lose to clemont
>someone was bad enough at the easiest games to discover that
>>25943964
Based Cesar
>>25939719
Oh god the one time where a big city actually felt like a burden half the time. I didn't know where tf I was going half the time and I still dont to this day lmao. It wasn't a negative though I enjoyed Lumiose.
>>25941195
It was a game breaking glitch that should never happened, but it's Gamefreak so people think it's OK.
>>25941195
It still happened. Doesn't matter if it was fixed. Shit, not even Gen I had a problem like that and people call it terrible because "look at all the glitchies XD"
>>25946631
Ferpectly!
>>25946685
The glitch only happened pretty rarely, barely anyone got their games bricked because of it. Gen I had glitches that happened uniformly and consistently (lol at Ghost) and made the game more unbalanced than it was supposed to be and more unappealing to the average player.
>>25944698
It wasn't a chance, it was guaranteed. It didn't even corrupt your save - rather, there was an error loading certain parts of the city causing the game to hard lock immediately upon loading the save.
>>25944713
The problem wasn't that people were getting lost, it was just that it was ass to maneuver in.
>>25939719
yes if they fix the controls
>>25946976
ghosts type matching wasnt a glitch, it was incorrectly entered values in the code.
glitch city was a fucking glitch and damn near cost us safari zones completely.
>>25947056
>ghosts type matching wasnt a glitch, it was incorrectly entered values in the code.
That's literally what a glitch is, though. No matter how complex it is, all glitches are just incorrectly entered values.
>>25947007
It wasn't guaranteed you pleb. It was a rare ocurrance that only affected a relatively small number of people.
>>25947081
Poor bait, but I'll take it anyway.
The occurance was rare only if you don't consider where people saved. However, if you saved in certain locations and then reloaded your game, the chances of it happening were 100%.
People say that you could leave the freezed state by continuously pressing Start/Select and some random buttons.
>>25947069
okay thats a technicality. the type matching works perfectly for what the code is supposed to do, it was human error that set it up to be weak to psychic. it isnt an error in how the code performs at all.
>>25947097
This is false
>>25939719
please no more huge cities
>>25947136
The code technically works exactly as it's supposed to (or rather, how it's read), but that doesn't make it less of a glitch. For an example, take the B2W2 Pokestar glitch, where there was a single tile of land you could surf on. If you ignore the aesthetics of the location, the code performs exactly as it's supposed to - the tile is registered as a water location, so you can surf on it. However, it's not what is intended - obviously, you are not supposed to be able to surf in a tree (likewise, if an NPC tells you Ghost is good against Psychic, it shouldn't be immune), so it's considered a glitch.
>>25947136
>I don't understand what a glitch is
>>25945751
This is the first time I hear about this. And I doubt many people even lost to him which is why it's so unheard about.
Castelia was good because it had something of a hub-and-spoke layout similar to the way a lot of theme parks (notably Disneyland) are laid out, which allows for easy navigation. It was easy to get to the center of Lumiose because of its central landmark and how all streets converge on that central point, but its layout made it extremely difficult to find anything else.
Good thing there's taxis to get to where you want right away.
>>25946589
Playing through a difficulty hack makes this glitch sound worse than the Lumiose one.
I am playing through Wilting Y and reading that made me a bit nervous. Gym leaders are hard as balls in this hack so I hope I don't lose and that happens.
>>25947864
>difficulty hack
Never understood the appeal. Adding difficulty shouldn't be the player's or a hacker's job.
>>25939719
>more than one pokemon center
Remove this place
>>25947722
There's nothing wrong with the layout of Lumiose per se. The problem is that every street looks exactly the same.
Lumiose City was fucking awful.
>>25947154
Bro apparently if you save on any of the rounded streets and turn it off, it will never load it right again. I'm not even going to risk testing it myself, I'll give you that
>>25939719
Can't we get another Sinnoh type of region? Say what you must about having the mount divide the region, but holy fuck was it fun to get around. So many different biomes and shit.
>>25939719
I just now noticed that the shape in the middle reminds me of this
>>25948959
SINNOH
CONFIRNMED
>>25944686
>Hopefully Gen 6
We're in Gen 7 now anon.
>>25948110
Well, it SHOULDN'T be, but because GF is incompetent, it IS.
>>25948959
>yfw Lumiose Frontier
