DarkIntegral's Typhlosion list is literal cancer. It somehow stops people from using common sense when building a deck.

Protip: If you have 20 energies in a 40 card deck, there's an over 85% chance of hitting two and a 50% chance of hitting 3.
So if you almost halve your energy count, you'll have access to a dozen more techs and consistency options without actually lowering your chances that much.

And, for whatever reason, all Typhlosion players seem to magically think they're ONLY allowed to run a Typhlosion line. I don't get it.

Does anyone think Typhlosion/Gallade/Zoroark is viable? Gallade's a pretty great attacker on its own, and Premonition gives you quite a bit more consistency with Typhlosion. Energy Recycler keeps Typhlosion running. Zoroark gives you more flexibility while also running off of the same DCEs that Gallade depends on. Ditch Ralts, save the Candies for Typhlosion, use Maxie's Hidden Ball Trick to get Gallade onto the field after discarding it via Ultra Ball/Typhlosion/Battle Compressor/etc.

This seems like a thing that could work.

Because you're confusing one Pokemon-affiliated entity for another. The ones responsible for designing sets and cards (along with maintaining Japanese organized play) is Pokemon Card Laboratory (PCL for short). TPCi's only responsibility in regards to the TCG is printing the cards and maintaining organized play for international audiences alongside hosting Worlds.

I am indeed him. I am running 2-1 ampharos, as I find Zapdos is doing most of the work. I used to have enerfy retrieval, but I added some max elixers and spirit links so I decided to drop them. Ppl hate on tierno because you can only play 1 supporter per turn and most Ppl rather draw 7 than 3. If your hand isn't allowing you to drop stuff every turn then it lacks consistency or you're just unlucky. In ptcg drawing 3 is pretty bad when you can average 5 with birch/Shauna/sycamore etc .that said it depends on the situation. Best case scenario is you set up your Pokémon bench early and just allocate resource. You might be winning because of the prize tradeoff vs Ex pokes but against a fast deck like Latios... I suggest running sacred ash and a searcher to recycle zapdos because you're running an inferior enteI deck. Potentially makes 4 copies 8 copies.

Ok so I reasearched the last bit. I'm honestly not running into that many issues with getting zapdos on the bench. I'm running pokefan club (soon brigette) and ultra balls, and drawing enough to get them out, and 4 is usually enough to seal out a game.

I have a lightning deck that runs eels where I purposely discard energy to thin out my deck and recharge my bench pokemon like ability bronzong. The sole way to get it was by buying it from the shop bundle in a very specific week. Which for most of the world means non-tradable copies. Unless you're Canadian and buy it with Gems (read: real money). Which means there are very few tradable copies available gamewide.

Now add to that, that it's probably *the* most useful and splashable Promo of any in Standard. Everyone needs at least one copy of this card sooner or later, so if they missed that particular bundle..

Are you buying or selling? If buying, you might eventually get one for 30 RS with a lot of patience. If selling, you can demand prices of 50+ and someone will take it sooner or later.

Just realized I'm missing the XERNEAS & YVELTAL pins as well as the worlds pins form the championship decks. Time to hunt them down.

Is it possible to make decent standard deck with only basic cards? I've just started playing, got about 10 theme decks so far and none EX cards. I'm asking because theme deck ladder is getting quite repetetive.

Thinking about using Jirachi and Powerful Friends Miltank in my Greninja Break deck. I think the synergy would be excellent.

I used Miltank in my old BREAKless greninja deck and it was pretty good. Muscle band Miltank hits for 100 damage with only 1 energy. FFB for a 140HP Miltank hitting 180 in 2 turns looks pretty good too.
