Recently caught up with dragonball and am debating whether or not to start on pokemon. Is it worth it? How much is there and is the order to watch them in obvious or should I look it up (or you could tell me) and is Ash still as cool as I remember him to be?

You need to understand that no matter how good Ash becomes or how based his team is, or even if his rivals and top competitors are mouthbreathing retards, the anime will find a way to have him lose in the quarterfinals again. How long has been since you watched it? Maybe it's nostalgia, since Daisuke, Miyako and Iori were really unidimensional and annoying. Takeru and Hikari were shit, and the others original chosen children... almost all of them were souless and seemed to be like 20 when they were 13/14
Apart from it, the first part wasn't really bad, but after that there wasn't even a consistent plot. Even that part finished pretty randomly. The kindness crests and the digiegg of miracles didn't even appear again. They just dropped the connection with the wonderswan games halfway through.
The jogress of Ken and Daisuke was alright, but the others made no sense. The Demon pseudo-arc went absolutely nowhere and VAMDEMON AGAIN was there worst possible conclusion.
The holy beasts were introduced as powerful megas although they were beaten by the dark masters easily, and just Azulongmon actually does something.
The original digimon couldn't evolve more than champion because of the sacrifice of the crests, but weren't they unnecesary since the battle with Apocalymon?
Imperialdramon had to evolve once more to defeat a digimon one level below him.
Oh, and the epilogue was crap.

It had many positive things too, but... well, what I've just said.

More than Electric, his weakness is Fairy.

Greninja, Hawlucha, Noivern and Goodra are weak to Fairy. Only Bravest Bird resist it.

I actually think that Tamers is by far the best, I just didn't feel like starting a shitflinging war with some nostalgia goggles autist that hasn't watched anything past 02. I thought Frontier was awful and really out of place for the digimon franchise, but they at least tried something risky. Nowhere, don't listen too those who say it has. But it's speculation bordering on common sense at this point. Ash doesn't get a new Pokémon until mid-July due to only there being five Pokémon in the movie and the league will start in September at the very latest (but more likely in July itself or August), plus Goodra was shown again and there's been new merchandising of it after a one-year break.

That's funny because 98% of the new episodes are a really hard watch for me. It's not even nostalgia talking, it's just the new seasons feel so superficial and idk...happy? It's just such a difference. The animation is meh too, aside from some battle scenes. They excel at action sequences.
