I was trying to go for a team made up for pokemon that usually those "delinquent" type of trainers would use like pic related. So I used poison types and dark types since that's what they usually use. Mawile and espurr stayed because they're my staples. I tried to not go for ones that are generally considered edgy like absol.

I fucked up I think, but it was fun trying to make a different team not made up of my favourites at least.

I haven't made one of these cards because I'm too lazy but doesn't everybody want to be a battlehobo, or travel? I mean my ultimate goal in the Pokemon universe would be to build my own battle frontier because I love battling under quirky rulesets and having so many different ways to battle.

See, that'd be an awesome goal. But I think a good 75% of these the text goal is some paraphrased version of "Travel, encounter new people and pokemon, have battles" and its just disappointing. There are so many interesting things people could come up with instead.

At its core, yes. But there is probably some reason or end-goal for you behind that. Maybe you want to start your own Gym, beat the champion or hunt legendary pokemon. All those are cool goals but just "fight people" is lame.
