Unfortunate that I fell for the Pokken meme and bought this barebones boring game, its not even worth 60 dollars for the utter lack of content in this shit.

The best thing about this game is it got me to check out old 2D fighting games I bought in the past but never really got into, I've been having much more fun with them for longer periods of time.

Weavile main here: Does anybody know what the "use for guard break" means for Fake out, and what "weakens synergy burst" means for the night slash hit of Taunt?

It's obvious what each relates to but I can't figure out specifically what each is doing.

In Dragon nest, Rayquaza appears flying into the open hole in the clouds. In Mystery carnival, if you look outside the broken window, you can see Darkrai standing on top of the tree in front of the moon. He's a bit harder to make out because he's a black sillhoette on another, but it's definitely him.

I'm a B4 Weavile at the moment and most of garchomps moves are unsafe and punishable. Unfortunately he has the HP to take all of these risks and literally 2 shots me if he guesses correctly twice.

Maybe Mewtwo, Garchomp, ect don't need damage nerfs, but rather other characters like Gardevoir, Gengar, and Sceptile all need damage buffs.

His best combo does like 240 and 95% you'll never get the full thing since if you hit them pretty much at all before it, you'll cause a phase shift in the middle of it.

Otherwise, he mainly only gets around 120-170. On the wall, he can only get about 170 before he causes a phase shift, too. Compared to the Weavile that mentioned 285 damage off a wall, that's pretty bad.

His teleport off X can only avoid one hit moves and will get stuffed by most combo attempts, even if you hold it. The air intangbility is alright, but after you do it, your options are obvious. The shadow sneak cancels aren't that great, since it moves too slow on the ground and he takes counterhit damage when he's in the laggy animation after returning from underground.

I like this game a lot, but there's a LOT of like.. n00b cannon shit like that. Really easy to use, low risk, high reward shit. Supers that end the lag of other moves, removing the abiity to punish in Burst. In fact, the huge emphasis on the triangle itself can be pretty rewarding to scrubs if they get a lucky read or two.

There's a high skill cap to this game, definitely, but too many rounds get thrown in the toilet because of some scrub getting handouts. I'm decent, but I'm not good enough to get around some of that shit yet, so it's frustrating.
