I have never ever evolved haunter into gengar and Ive had him in basically every game that allowed me to. Haunter is so fucking cool and gengar is a fat bastard.

Mareep and Flaffy are much cuter and are more thought out than Ampharos. Ampharos is just a long, skinny Pikachu.
I don't like the sheered sheep look, maybe if it wasn't bright yellow it would look nicer, I prefer blue Mareep and pink Flaffy a lot more, yellow is boring.
The thing that makes Mareep and Flaffy pleasant designs is that they're wooly like a sheep. Without that it's hard to even tell what animal Ampharos is even based off of, if it wasn't an evolution of Mareep and Flaffy, you'd have no fucking clue.
