Neither, these are possibly the worst games in the entire series.
Seriously, just piles of garbage, only get it if you are interested in competitive wi-fi, although even simulators like showdown are better than this.
You will have more fun painting a pile of bricks like pikachu than playing this shit stain.

OR because Team Magma are more villainous and a bit more sensible as evil scientists who inadvertently are going to burn everything for the sake of people as opposed Team Aqua who are just your goofy pirate friends who are going to make it rain a bunch for the sake of pokemon, but not for most pokemon if you think about it for even a second.

X because the life/death dichotomy of the ultimate weapon is more pronounced when you have Xerneas fuelling it and Flare is doing what they do for the sake of life instead of "graah, destruction" so therefore seems more sensible.

Are these questions supposed to make me side with Team Aqua? An evil scientist leading a cult is more definitely more evil. Archie and co were your wacky pirate friends over the whole journey while Maxie, fat autist and cute autist at least acted as actual villians. Team Magma's plan also follows a small semblance of reason (more land = more room for people, and also most pokemon even though that's not part of the plan), unlike Team Aqua's which is wishy washy and has completely bullshit reasoning (more sea "=" more room for pokemon, except most pokemon besides water-types live on land and a good amount of those presumably live in fresh water). These things combine to make Team Magma seem antagonistic and like they are actually doing things for a reason, and gives some weight to the moments where Tabitha, then Maxie and then Courtney realise they're wrong. Team Aqua is so wishy-washy and 100% retarded, I just can't take them seriously.
