Luxray sucks ass.
You will only be able to use it decently in the lower tiers.
Just give it max attack max speed, as it is useful for nothing more.
Unless you want to give it a mixed HP ice T-Bolt set, which is ass.

Probably best just strapping a choice band on it and using wild charge. It's got ice fang, superpower, and crunch for coverage but I like to give it volt switch because if you aren't using wild charge you're better off switching anyways.
It's got guts as an ability too so you might give it a toxic orb or something but it is fairly slow and fragile but at least that protects it from burn?

There really isn't an advanced technique you can use for Luxray, it's straightforward.

you don't. Luxray isn't good, even in the tier it resides in (which is PU, the lowest of the low)

it has decent stats but it's movepool lacks as it has no moves to complement its stats. It's coverage moves either harm it or are just plain weak.
