The exp. share halves the exp. points and shares it with another Pokemon. That isn't helpful for trying to balance an entire 6 Player team, that's helpful for leveling a weakmon who'd normally get fucked in a battle.

I'd rather just get all the exp. for each Pokemon and peacefully grind. Some of my most relaxing memories have been relaxing, listening to music, and just grinding away at wild Pokemon. Heck, I've even found shinies just by doing that.
