Blue would be a close second, Lance's levels are pathetic as is his team, Steven even with Rematches is an ultimate pushover because he is one type, Wallace suffers the same reason. Cynthia's team was diverse, Alder's team was diverse, but not as good as Cynthia's. Iris suffers from the same type syndrome, and Diantha...boy she shouldn't even be counted in the same league as the others.

Lance pushed my shit in for weeks as a little kid because I was a retarded child and trained one pokemon up to be really strong. It actually forced me to learn about type matchups and not having a shitty team. I trained a Kingler (because I was a dumb kid) just for the purpose of avenging myself and I beat Lance while I had a horrible ear infection and high fever and had just bought a bunch of sweets at an Amish bakery. An unpopular opinion, but to me it's definitely Wallace in Emerald, the only Champion I ever lost to. His team is bulky as FUCK and is basically designed to annoy the fuck out of you:

I should probably specify that I lost to him in a Nuzlocke. I never had the luck to run into Ralts in any of my Emerald runs. Gardevoir would probably be able to sweep Wallace with enough CM boosts, but really, that goes for pretty much every Champion ever (except maybe Iris on BW2 challenge mode because she has no exploitable set up Pokemon as far as I can tell).

I'd actually say the only time my shit was about to get tossed was by a regular trainer in AS that had only a shroomish and my mudkip (or his 2nd stage evolution, cant remember the name) was getting his shit wrecked because of leech seed, one of the grass draining attacks and some other attack it had, plus it was faster than me and kept dodging every attack i threw at it. I had no pokemon strong enough to withstand a blow from shroomish except for lotad who i used teeter dance on shroomish which gave me just enough room to switch out back to mudkip and use an inneffective move on it twice to kill it. i've never come that close to losing to a regular trainer in my life. I'll make sure i'm fully prepared with a competent from here on out

I like Diantha, even though she was the weakest (excluding RB Gary). Her design is super cute and I like the Audrey Hepburn motif. She had little to no character development or plot significance but honestly I'm not too worried about that. It's Pokemon. While Black and White was a breath of fresh air, I'm not playing Pokemon for the plot. Although it certainly would be welcomed.
