I would say he wasn't, since he realized he was wrong in the end. Autistic people never realize what they are doing is not acceptable, and N finally realized that he was being manipulated into being an idiot.
I believe it had more to do with his education, he was raised as a princess surrounded by nothing but abused pokemon and having little to no social interaction.
