It's the Pokeball Lines that are missing that is causing it, they're the reason the design pops as much as it does.

It's supposed to be a Faberge egg though. The ears reference the fact that Faberge eggs are easter eggs.

You'll be able to find Magearna by using strength to move a well-hidden truck, making it a literal easter egg.

See, if uninspired people like you were in charge of designing Pokemon, we'd still be stuck with overly simplistic, bland designs.

Your mentality of 'it has unecessary patterns and details' is ignorant and questionable. After all, maybe -- just maybe -- those 'unnecessary and extra patterns' are in fact necessary to the design of that Pokemon.
