Murkrow was my favorite pokemon until Gourgeist became a thing, so when I heard it was gonna get an evolution in D/P I was stoked...And this is what I got.

I don't hate Honchkrow, but I wish they'd kept the witchy theme Murkrow had instead.

I was never bothered by Honchkrow. I always saw Murkrow as a mobster because you first see one in GS owned by Team Rocket, the Crystal Dex entry talks about looting from Meowth and vice versa, and because of that episode of Star Trek with the 20s gangster planet.

I really found Slakoth cute but a pain to use, and Vigoroth pretty good in its design and was actually pretty useful.
Slaking while it has uber stats, just went to ugly as fuck quick and became the problem that was what Slakoth was before gameplay-wise, especially when it came from Vigoroth.

Slaking isn't a problem at all gameplay-wise because Slakoth has shitty stats for such an awful ability and Slaking has amazing stats to balance it out. I don't find Vigoroth's design that great either. Honestly, what were you expecting?

I like Dragonite's design but is there any logic behind the design's progression? Why does it go from a majestic serpent to a super-cartoony dragon with almost none of the previous form's traits?
