There's literally no problem with the current system other than a few changes that would make for better balance or logic

Some of those things being in elemental or natural makes no sense

You honestly think Water should have the exact same number of weaknesses and resistances as Rock? Should Ghost have the same number of immunites as Psychic? Should Dragon no longer be weak to Ice, or resist Fire, Grass, Water and Electric?
