Platinum, HGSS and BW2 were high points of the series. 2008-2012, the pinnacle.

Nah m8, not OP but i can assure you they've aged just as much as any Pokemon game. I played them last month and they're still the second greatest Pokemon experiences I've ever had. Nice aesthetic, great music, loads of shit to do even on top of G/S's already large array of features, and the Pokemon following you was a great feature. Only bad thing is the Pokemon distribution, but thats only down to it being a remake. Those issues are still present in the originals.

To this day, Mystery Dungeon games are my favourite overall, however HGSS are on top when it comes to main games (followed by BW and DPP).
