1894 eggs for a shiny sneasel. All perfect iv except attack and speed of course. Jolly nature. The sneasel that knew icicle crash leveled up too high and forgot it so he doesn't know it. Evolved it today and was just like nah and stashed it

In all of my masuda method attempts except that one I've ended up with something retarded (usually 0 speed) on the first shiny before getting another. I was scared shitless that I'd get a female ralts but ended up with a 6iv male after about 800 eggs (no HA tho...bleh).

If you want something hard enough you will eventually get it....hold fast and good luck.

I've never once tried to soft reset for a wild shiny (I did RNG abuse a few in gen 5) but breeding one is actually not all that bad.....plus you get to hand out the non shiny ones to friends and whatnot. If this game wasn't a haven for hacking and cheating, what people in this thread do would be the norm.

In all honesty you either like it and get it or hate it and never will......some of us find value in rare color palettes.

When I was a little kid, Meowth and Persian were always my favorites so I decided I would try to breed a shiny one. Got this little fucker in only 5 eggs, I was really surprised. Less than a day later, just walking through the grass I found a shiny Shuppet.

I kinda regret the quick ball, but I don't play competitive at all, so all I've really done was level these guys up. Forgot to have Meowth learn payday though, so thats another thing that pissed me off since it's his signature.

Their colors suck, but I love them.

I, personally, don't hunt for legendaries and I never do SR hunting. The only hunting I enjoy doing is the pokeradar in gen 4 or simply random encounter hunting. And I use both in order to kill time during classes in uni or generally kill time when I have to do something other than sit in my pc.

Was fishing for Heartscale and got two Shiny Luvdisc and one Wailmer. Too easy.
I did get a shiny Fennekin after 200 or so eggs on MM as well. Probably my favourite shiny.

I was catching a pokemon for someone in fs and ended up catching a shiny female frogadier. that makes two shiny female froggies.

Did you know that Reshiram and Zekrom are the rarest Shiny Legendaries? They're Officially Shiny Locked in all but one game each.

Shiny Zekrom can only ever appear in AS, and Reshiram in OR.

As far as I know, every other Legitimate Shiny Legendary can be found legally in at least two games.

Of course, 10 year olds who cheat in shinies have killed any kind of "value" aside from sentimental, but that doesn't bother me personally.

Those games have just as much Legendaries as OR/AS, and were also the first games to include the Shiny Charm.

Although, with a lack of Wi-Fi, you'll have to jump through hoops, or cheat to get the Shiny Charm, or hunt without it.

Use the money O-Power lv 3 and battle the E4
If you have a gold/plat flag in your base add Camper, Guitarist, Pokémaniac, Rich boy, Street thug, Swimmer, Delinquent, Fairy tale girl, Hex maniac, Lady, Lass and Picknicker to your base and have them use the 'search for treasure' ability
Try to get something with Happy Hour then do Happy Hour+Amulet coin+Money O-Power level 3 and battle the E$ or Rich boys/Ladies. This is probably the fastest way to make money.

I got these two today in Diamond (using the Pokeradar).Damn it took me a lot of time to encounter them.Chain of 67 before I got a shiny patch of grass(Shinx) and a chain of 37 before I got Ralts.However the both of them have bad IVs and bad natures.

Found one of these cuties this afternoon. I was with my friend while waiting for our pasties to cook when I found him, so I called him Pasty.

It's a little nerve wracking finding a shiny in a horde. Not being able to throw the Ultra Ball immediately is always a little uncomfortable, because you don't know what's going to happen. It's the first Shiny I've seen in 8 years, and the first one I've caught considering that Shiny Graveler blew up.

Shiny Gigalith looks pretty fucking sick, so I'm going to train him up as best I can.

I'm doing some MMing for a shiny Sableye and i am 600 eggs in and nothing. The majority are penta perfect and usually they have prankster too but i just know deep inside that when he will hatch it will not get that ability or the nature will be wrong. Its just like the male buneary and the torrent froaker. Also funny story, i had a torchic egg from the time i was hatching those and i just installed a homebrew that takes the place of pokemon bank. The program actually shows you what pokemons are in the eggs. So i checked the egg and i saw the fact that this little random torchic was in fact shiny

I hatched a shiny totodile. Wasnt even trying, been breeding for 2 hours or so to get a competitive one, found a penta finally and called it a day with two spare eggs left. Hatched them and one was a shiny who lacked defense but otherwise correct. So i say fug defense this is my first shiny who could ever come close to serious usage.

I've never bred or reset for a shiny. I have two. I caught a shiny zubat back in Pearl and used it in my playthrough. She's now a shiny brobat and I recently reset her EVs and trained her properly. She's probably my favourite mon.

My other is a shiny drifloon I caught in Y. Not bothered training it yet, not sure if I like the yellow colour scheme.
