Problem with Canada is that so much of it geographically is just a block of nothing on a map, so doesnt make for interesting region design, they would end up having to choose part of it like Southern Ontario or god help us, Newfoundland, in order to have a decent looking region.

Yeah, I think it would be cool. Canada is a big place with lots of variety so I'd imagine it would have to be pretty localized. A region based in western Canada with the rainforests and mountains and then prairies would be really nice, I think.
