Now BW2 can reasonably be called gen 5.5 because it was a different story with new characters and everything, however it took place in the same region with no new Pokemon.

Since Sun and Moon have new Pokemon and probably a new region, then AT BEST it can be like the relationship between gen 1 and 2, which are still considered different generations. Gen 6.5fags don't have a leg to stand on.
