Well, I work for an european community that has some contacts in TPCi and I can totally confirm this; it won't be shown anything new. Ohmori, Masuda & co. will just comment on what was teased in the Pokémon Direct.

I honestly think Joe has the same kind of contacts in TPCi, otherwise I really don't understand how he can predict something like this, with no proofs and with all evidences that were forwarding to a big teaser/announcement.

Just to play devil's advocate here, but they said it was the first footage to be aired on TV, not that it would be footage of the actual game. The Direct was online, so one could argue they could show that again and they wouldn't technically be lying.

Having said that I still think it would be retarded to have Masuda and company on the show for a repeat of a month-old teaser when CoroCoro promised new info this month and they'll have to cover that on the show in a few weeks anyway. Why not just have Masuda on then? If they're appearing BEFORE CoroCoro then obviously they're there to reveal the first actual news before CoroCoro can steal their thunder, otherwise they wouldn't need to be there at all.
