For those of you that haven't figured it out yet, this was just an April Fools prank gone terribly wrong. I unfortunately overestimated the ability of /vp/ to recognize a joke *after* it turned, so I guess that's my fault.

The team never decided to split up and we're still working on the game. Majora posted a pastebin containing part of the conversation getting the joke together >>25789042 here and it made a lot of people mad. Not because the joke was ruined, it wasn't that hilarious to begin with, but because tensions have been running high with Majora in the past week and it was a huge dick move on his part. That actually *did* start a shitstorm which resulted in him promising to leave for an indeterminate amount of time, which some are pushing as "forever" and others "we don't know yet". So that's basically what's going on.

Thanks for another awful thread /vp/. The .RAR I posted by the way was a renamed file of Pokemon Omicron. I'm bummed but not at all surprised none of you opened it. Expect Sage Sunday on Sunday, drama free, because drama doesn't belong in the project. Enjoy your April Fools day.

This underestimates, however, the time that was spent creating the dex, spriting, deciding on maps, coding, balancing stats, creating moves, and writing dialogue, along with a host of other things. Additionally, systems are no in place in every facet of the game development cycle to move route/cities/events swiftly from conception to completion.

I would unironically put late 2017/early 2018 as a release date.

Scavengers eat the leftovers of other animals prey, the whole point is being able to eat without being yourself a hunter. As such, this ability should really be changed to "when an opposing pokemon faints" rather than just when said pokemon knocks them out.

Take one part autism and one part massive OCD.
Then pair that with a combination of a huge ego and a massive delusional complex that makes him legitimately believe everything he says is objective fact (I'm not exaggerating).
Then make him unrelentingly stubborn. To the point where he will never, ever give up. The only way to end an argument is to either just stop participating entirely (50% success rate, he'll just spam you with PMs) or get rid of him.
Slap a fiery temper on top of all that and you have Majora.
