The only blue is where it touches the black, but then it blends to purple really quickly.

I live in fear of something like this happening. It's why I tend to look up movesets online when I find a shiny and don't use my masterball just in case.

I used a ghost Pokemon while hunting for a shiny Beldum and, because of the absurdly low catch rate, it struggled itself to death. I managed to catch two others, though, so I wasn't too upset.

Worse is when you find a Shiny Seviper in a mixed horde with Zangoose and they kill it. I finally found redemption in the FS, but man that was a sickening feeling.

Is it even possible to catch a Seviper in that situation? Unless you use a move that hits them all and are lucky enough that only Seviper isn't knocked out, I can't really think of a way.

Ended up using Master Ball on Shiny Metang. That low catch rate made me use up all 200 something of my Ultra Balls.

I tried using Darkrai's Dark Void to try and put everyone to sleep, but one Zangoose survived and that was it. I've heard that you could use a Chimeco with Levitate ability and Skill Swap to place Levitate on Seviper and then bring in a Magnitude user, but that's a lot of luck needed. I don't think there is a way to be honest, I was looking for a Shiny Zangoose at that point so of course it would have to be the lowest odds Shiny.
