Maybe if NPC dialogue was actually good I'd do it more often. I'm just so tired of general statements and tips.

Of course. In fact, maybe I care about what they say a little too much... See, I just noticed that there is a bug related to Sky Trainers that doesn't allow you to talk to them immediately after battle, so you have to re-enter the area and step into the tile that triggers a conversation with them again in order to see it. Because of this I actually assumed there is no post-battle dialogue with Sky Trainers until I almost got to E4. Now I'm backtracking to find all the STs I previously defeated to read what they say, even though I don't remember the context for half of them because, naturally, after the battle they say something related to what they have said before it. This is seriously getting stupid...

Yes. Why wouldnt I? You never know if the NPC will say something neat or useful. Plus I like to see every dialogue in the game.

Always, I'm surprised sometimes how amusing are the things that they say, you're just expecting generic shit but they end up taking a laugh or smile from you.
I also noticed that they talk more smart stuff in later gens than in early ones, but jokes are always present until today.

I do usually, sometimes they talk about hint at lores and other more relevant npc lives and personalities and locations.
I'm just curious.
