aurorus doesn't need any buffs. it's already naturally faster than armaldo. and already naturally bulky enough to tank it.
why do you keep mentioning buffs. why setting up stealth rock a "waste"? i'm obviously not doing it with armaldo on the field. the only reason armaldo is being send out is to remove the rocks with rapid spin, i assume, otherwise it has no business being on the field since it just automatically dies. and starting the game with an armaldo is just suicide anyway lol since even if you spam aqua jet and even if ancientpower doesn't kill on the first turn, aurorus still lives through it and still kills armaldo.
what's so hard to understand here? why are you defending your shitmon so hard?

Why are you so obsessed with armaldo? Any number of pokemon, including many of the fossils would 1 hit Aurorus. Stealth rock is a waste because you need the turn to get your '100% acc. blizzard'. Otherwise 2 hits and Aurorus is down.

My favorite designs are Cradily and Archeops, but I've used Kabutops, Aurorus, and Armaldo. Aurorus is for a Round-based triple battle team that's really potent, but Kabu had a nice single battle set.

If you come in on a weak contact move, you can likely eat it with Kabutops's decent physical defense and gain the Weak Armor speed boost to attempt the sweep.

Kabutops is my all time favorite swift swim sweeper. Not getting screwed by the sand setters is amazing. And in 3v3 battle spot, it can destroy common teams on its own.

Omanyte and Kabuto are nice but they're both really similar to each other, I guess when they were making them they didn't want one to be that much better than the other so that kids didn't feel like they made a wrong choice or something.

Aerodactyl is great but it doesn't really look like it should be a rock type.

Lileep and Anorith are both cool but I think Anorith still has a really shitty moveset which makes it a chore to use ingame, while I feel Lileep can pull its own weight once it gets around level 30

Rampardos is okay but Bastiodon is just an incoherrent mess and its absolutely useless for anything other than tanking hits, even ingame. Worst fossil by a wide margin

Tirtouga is cool and Archen is easily my favorite fossil pokemon. It's a shame it has to be saddled with such a bad ability though, I'd appreciate if it got a better one, even something useless like oblivious or pickup would do wonders for it.

Tyrunt feels redundant and it looks far too gaudy for my tastes. The sails on Amaura/Aurorus's ingame model look spiffy but other than that they're pretty bad pokemon

I'd to see some primordial arthropods in the next set of fossils, maybe a giant cockroach or some ancient species of spider
