I always saw them as cat-fox-dogs, the result of human domestication and breeding. That would explain why their genetics are so mutable and able to evolve in so many different ways.

I'll admit that before the fairy type was revealed I thought Sylveon would be bug type, but really only because I thought it was the only existing type that fit. Either that or Normal. I really wasn't expecting them to add a new type.

But I never made posts about how it was definitely going to be bug and that people proposing a new type were stupid. It upsets me that I could be associated with that sort of behavior.
