I want more cross generation evolutions. So much potential still for shitty 2 part evolutions to explore.

Me too, but drop the weird item requirements, just give the pokemon a new signature move that allows it to level up normally.
Gen 4 did pandering to gen 1 right. But I'm afraid we'll never get any cross-evolutions anymore for the favor of Megas. Which sucks, because megas should be reserved for pokemon with 3 evolutions already.

Though I used to hate pokemon that never evolved and never use them in my games, as long as they have a nice learnset that can accompany you through the entire game, it's all good. Why do you hate non-fully evolved pokemon?
