So the TPCi dub's latest episode kept the least amount of Japanese music in the history of the English dub: only 1 piece, 4% of it total.

TPCi's dub is truly awful shit: DP was when it became garbage, but XY is cancer tier.

This is why Japanese Version is superior: no shit Goldfarb music, no shit voice acting, and finally, no shit Cathcart writing.

I'm not saying Pokemon was ever one such Series, but for its first few seasons, the dub was passable enough. Sabat's improved a lot from before, though. His Piccolo used to be total shit, but at least he sounds smoother and less forced now. I'm not saying he's Furukawa, but he's decent now.

Sabat's Vegeta has always been better than Drummond's high pitched helium scientist-y Vegeta, grunting included, but only in Kai has he managed to drop the gruff rasp and smooth it out. He's arguably on par with Horikawa now.

It gets really amazing to me when you look at how often the dub changed hands not just in the US, but in places like Russia or many European countries. In more than a few cases, the original dubbing company went defunct, even. Somehow, despite this, apparently every single one of those places never had any rights issues in terms of reusing the same lyrics 20 years later.
