Whenever someone gets an otherwise worthless card graded (like >>25737438) and tries to sell it, it's really just a matter of finding someone to overpay. I don't know what it costs to get a card graded by the PSA but I imagine it can't cost too much. If that seller does make a profit off that Ancient Mew, power to them.

Of course if it's not graded it's still worth only $5.

So I guess I'll be selling these and use them to trade my 2DS in for a proper god damn 3DS.

I had a 4set of full art Ns from the first set they came out of (noble victors I think) and traded them for 2 full art Lysandre and 3 full art Gardevoir EX thinking they'd be rotated out. Apparently they keep printing N promos to prevent this....I've been kicking myself about trading them since.

The pull rates good cards are much better, you can buy one box and you are guaranteed something good out of them, you can get at least one mega and several EXs and each box is about $25-$30 and come out in smaller expansions as compared to english cards in which your chances are much lower unless you buy bulk

Hell no. They've done it for years. When a carrd is $50 or more for x amount of months it gets reprinted. It's to keep the game alive and get new people in.

The game has never been built for rotation and decks are made to work with old cards as well as new. And actually, a lot of people wait for the predictable reprints. Those that want them early for events pay. The most recent reprint set has been hailed as one of the best reprint sets ever just in a sense of making the modern game more accessible. It's also profitable since the hype allows you to plus and sell/trade what you don't need.


Anyways, the playerbase is very against rotation every time it's been brought up and I think it would drive a lot of players to quit.
